some information

(TRUST US, THIS IS THE MOST READING YOU’LL HAVE TO DO)

while this is a podcast about “christian” music, it’s not a “christian” podcast

We primarily focus on the music of the records we cover. Our goal isn’t to break down theological concepts or deconstruct anything. We will cover aspects of Christianity, the Church, theology, etc as the lyrics point us there. Those topics are open to discuss when fitting, but that’s not the focus of our show.

We don’t have any rules against swearing or alcohol. Please speak as you naturally would, and by all means, pour yourself a drink while we hang out. We want the show to feel natural, relaxed, and conversational.

We generally aim for our artist interviews to be around 60 minutes. We want to be mindful of your time so please let us know any time constraints you have, and we’ll be happy to accommodate them.

We’re all musicians and producers so we love to get into some of the nerdier aspects of songwriting, recording, production, gear, etc. Feel free to get as deep and specific as you want.

The flow for an Artist Interview is very flexible, but the next page outlines a few things that we might cover.

If you’d like an idea how our episodes typically go you can listen to:
